I am selling my Mac so I need to format it somehow, but I don't have a disc for OS X. What do I do? I just want to clean all my information, pics, videos, files, before I sell it. Thanks.

If you don't have the disk, you are just going to have to delete all of your files and preference files manually. :(

If you did not promise the seller a copy of OS X, it is possible to wipe clean the drive. Google for DBAN for PowerPC. It is a piece of software that securely erases your hard disk.

i guess i can just delete all my files... gonna take a while but oh well. thanks.

Should just be able to drag your home folder to the trash while logged in as a new user.
