I have an IMAC...(The last 24" white one) and I installed Leopard and I am not happy with it. Every time I am on a wireless signal, it locks up my wife's imac.

Mine came with OS X 10.4 and I have my disks.

I tried booting to the install disk and it told me that this version cannot be installed on 10.5.1.....Well OK!!!!

I want to make my computer just like the day I bought it.

How do I do this.>>???

Someone with more knowledge than me will most likely come along soon, but couldn't you boot from an installation disc, go to Disk Utility, and reformat the hard-drive from there?

When you booted off the discs did you try an Archive or Erase and Install?

You're more then likely going to need to erase and install.

Erase, Install, and Welcome Back to the Days When Macs "Just Worked". :^) I'll let you in on a secret: You know those "get a Mac" commercials? The guy on the right? He's using Tiger. Guy on the left? Leopard! :D
