How to get a movie from MBP to iPhone?

I have a pretty large movie (100+mb) that I need to get to my iphone to add to iMovie....I have a link from Dropbox but it wont let me dl it. I can't email it to myself as the file is too big. I am FTP'ing it to my site but I dont expect to be able to save the movie from that direct link either. Any other way to get it back on my iPhone?

Assuming it is on you MBP, you can go into itunes, then add it to your stuff, then update.

It of course has to be a format that the phone likes. I have lots of movies on my phone that come right from the MBP.

Ok, I got it into the videos section of my iphone but I can't add it to iMovie from there. Any other suggestions?

UPDATE:

The only way to do this is to import movie into iPhoto, check the sync photos section (including videos) of itunes and sync device.
