how to get a PC radeon 7500 to work in a mac?

i´ve found a collection to patch a 7000, but nowhere a hint to patch a pci 7500. should i try the 7000´er patches? i´ve heard that the 7500 is a tweaked 7000 (more speed, more ram... ???) if this, i think its possible to get a 7500 to work in a mac.
Or have anybody another good tip which card is able to use in a G3 b/w ?

(i.e. patch a pci port to work as a agp ? )

Are you looking to buy this card or do you already own it? If your have it already try looking at xlr8yourmac.com or if you don't already own it consider buying a mac specific card. The radeon 7000 PCI is 149Euro from Apple. It is twice what you'd pay for the PC version but at least you will know it will work

From what I was told, the Pc version of ATi Radeon cannot be use in a APPLE system because the graphic cards have different firmware... I was wonder is there anyway to change the firmware...

there is a way.

the pc radeon 7000 cost something around 40 Eur/$. thats a big difference. and to patch a pc radeon to mac compatible isnt a problem. Just patch the firmware, they are absolute identically.

But whats about the 7500 ??? i´ve found a store with some pci cards (only r7500).
