How to get an iPhone 5 Case?

I know that it is ways off, but when the iPhone 5 comes out, how can I ensure that I get a case and screen protector, without having to wait weeks and weeks for stores to have them in stock? When the iPhone 4 came out, I had a naked phone for a few weeks until retailers had cases in stock, which was risky. Do online stores let you pre-order cases in advance before they sell out?

It all depends whether these stores get something to work off of in time to make a case before launch. Personally, I think it's far too early to be worrying about this. Not even case-makers know what this think will look like.

Once we get closer to the release, we'll be seeing plenty of case leaks for the next iPhone design. Since we have no idea what it'll look like, you can make the small gamble and buy one of those before the actual release. If they're right, then you just gained a cheap case. If they're wrong, you've only lost a few dollars at most.
