Hi, I really don't know but suddenly all my bookmarks on Safari have gone! the file with bookmarks is empty!
How do i restore it from my backup system on Time machine?
Where on the backup are they stored? And how do i get them back?
The apple support websites are not helpful.
My iPhones safari bookmarks are also gone, my iPad 1 bookmarks are still there.
I did a search first, but this was unsuccessful.
Many thanks for your help!

Go to Library - Safari and restore the bookmarks.plist file.

If you navigate to the Safari folder on your mac and then enter TM it will take you straight to the Safari folder in TM.
Find your bookmarks.plist and restore from the time before they disappeared.

Useful information for Time Machine:
