Since I'm horrible at directions one of my favorite things about Apple watch is definitely the haptic feedback it gives you when you need to make a turn, take an exit etc while driving.

But while the haptic feedback comes from the wrist, the audio comes from the phone, so while I know I have to do something like a make a left because of the taps, sometimes I can't hear the audio of what I'm suppsoed to do because its coming from my phone in my pocket.

Is there anyway to switch the audio from the phone to the watch?

Doesn't the watch show you what turn you have to make, so even if you can't hear the audio can you look at the watch to see? I haven't tried it yet, but that's what their Maps video shows it doing.

As far as I know there is no way to get audio other than alert sounds and phone calls to come through the watch speaker. Since siri doesn't make noise on the watch I don't think it's possible to get spoken directions.
