After updating I can no longer get an emoji keyboard in messages when I use the Magic Keyboard. Same for my wife. I use several international keyboards, and when I press the globe key, it circles among those. But the emoji keyboard does not show up, although that is one I have added to the keyboard settings. While writing this in Safari, I get a toolbar at the bottom of the screen where I can select the emoji keyboard. But that toolbox does not show up in messages. A bug? Very irritating I cannot get emojis in messages, where I of course use them the most.

How to get emojis using the Magic Keyboard in messages?

Press control + cmd + space bar to open the emoji popup while composing a message.
Thanks that works 😌. But I still think it’s a bug that you cannot get to emojis from the globe key.
Must have something to do with the international keyboards, as the Globe key brings up emojis for me in Messages. I have no international keyboards.
