I have 2 iPhone 4's. One is activated through AT&T. The other is not. How can I get my iMessages on both phones? I read that if you put the SIM card from the activated phone into the unactivated phone, it will somehow link the 2 phones. I tried this and it did not work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

iMessages is based on your iCloud Apple ID information. On both devices make sure you have the same iCloud info signed in under messages and you should be able to go. I have my iMessage account synced between my iPad, iPhone, MBA and iMac. I don't see why two phones would be any different.

Just make sure under your iMessage settings that the "Start new conversation from" is your email address, not your phone number. And obviously, both devices need to be connected to the Internet, Wi-Fi or cellular, doesn't matter.
