I am trying to get a few iPhone 4's off contract for as cheap as possible.

Can you order more than one under a family plan?

Any advice? Thanks!

Don't see why you can't. Though if you buy from Apple or AT&T, I believe they make you sign a contract before leaving the store.

If you're not on a contract, then there is no family plan. If you buy phone's through a family plan, then you are on a contract. Moral of the story is there is no way to get an iPhone 4 for cheap or else everybody would be doing it that way.

Exactly. You think you're the only person who wants to buy things for lower prices?

I am the only person that wants things for low prices in the werhld

Why can't you get them on a contract? That's the cheapest way to get them (from an initial outlay standpoint).

Were you gonna try to use them on T-Mobile or some such?

If so, why not wait until T-Mobile has the iPhone? I mean, that should be within another year or so.

Right now, iPhone 4s are selling for a premium.

Period.

You could maybe score some used 3GSs for a reasonable price. Even then, I dunno that I'd call 3-400 a phone for a 3GS "cheap."

If I sign up for a contract with ATT would I get my iPhone 4 quicker if I did it straight through Apple or through ATT (online is my only option)

Thanks!

Which one do you guys think will get me an iphone in my hands faster? Ordering through ATT or Apple?

Cheapest would be to use someone else's upgrade to get the phone for $199/299 price and do an upgrade swap back to the old dumbphone.

If they need a new phone, just pay full price for a cheap dumbphone.

I know, especially in this economy.:D
I dont think anyone else wants to save money....

There is no such thing as getting something expensive for a low price. You'll have to buy them at AT&T's $499/$599 outright price.

Actually the full price is $599 / $699
