How to get iPhone contacts to the iPad

Hey guys,

Was noticing that while some contacts made it to my ipad through the normal itunes sync, not all the info is there. Prefilling emaill addresses is also not working.

Am i missing something here?

There isnt anywhere special in itunes i need to click to get those contacts over is there?

Under the 'info' section in iTunes for your iPad. Select contact syncing.

I use Entourage and click a couple of things in there to sync up with iCal and Contacts. In iTunes click on the info tab for the iPad device. Make sure All contacts is ticked or if you only want certain groups you can choose below that. Same for Calendars. There is also and option at the bottom of that tab to overwrite to the ipad the info that you have instead of a sync.

This is where I've found Yahoo! to be great. I sync my iPhone contacts to Yahoo, and they're always safe. I synced my iPad with my Yahoo contacts and it worked great.

The problem with this is, at least from my understanding, since i already have my work calendar and contacts syncd, i cant add another.

One only exchange account can be sync'd at a time.

I want to get my work email on the ipad but I'm using exchange to sync Google calendar and contacts. I'm thinking of switching over to caldev for my calender syncing to Google and just sync the desktop contacts to Google instead of over the air with the ipad. And then when I sync the ipad to itunes my contacts will sync over that way. Not a big deal if contacts aren't sync'd in real time.
