How to get java working with google chrome?

Hi, yesterday I installed the latest java version from Oracle and the latest chrome version. It seems the java version I have is not working with chrome.

I would highly appreciate any tips/advices on how to get java working with google chrome.

Java 7 is 64 bit; Google Chrome is only 32 bit. You're either going to have to use a different browser (such as Safari or Firefox) or you have to re-enable Apple's Java 6 plugin (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5559?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US).
