Hi everyone, I have stated in my imac's system preferences that MacOS software updates can be installed automatically. Still, I regularly see a red number one on the system preferences dock icon.
Am I too impatient? Because when does the imac download and install this?
Often I decide to do it manually anyway. Often unwelcome, because I also want to use itunes.
Sometimes the imac asks me if I want to install it in an hour, or tonight.
My question: Actually I am looking for a possibility - when I go to sleep - that I can indicate when closing the imac; "Yes, download and install the software update; And then shutdown automatically. "
Is this possible?
Below my software update settings. Well it's Dutch. But you see; All boxes are checked (MacOS Catalina 10.15.):
