How to get Mavericks styled folders!

In Mavericks the launchpad folders are semi-transparent.

I managed to replicate that effect (well sort of) in 10.8.5 by deleting ecsb_background_tile@2x.png and ecsb_background_tile.png respectively. The result is almost as good as Mavericks. Thoughts?
