I am trying to upload music on my iPhone with iTunes. I have a Tiesto album with multiple artists. I've researched for a day and tried everything, yet I can't get it to show up as one album.

Tried checking "part of compilation"
Tried Various Artists as album artist w/ regular Artist name in Artist field
Tried Tiesto as album artist w/ regular Artist name in Artist field
Double checked "Get Info" for any irregularities in tags.

And on the iPhone Settings > Music > Group by Album Artist is set to ON.

This is making me so angry that I have 20 different albums for 20 tracks of the same album. Tiesto is just an example, there are several other albums that are doing the same thing.

I think I know what you are trying to get?

If I have, say 'Now 1' as an album, I can see that in Album view and all tracks are listed with the artists showing against each individual track, if I go to Artist view, the full album appears in the grouping 'Various Artists'.

Using 'Get Info'
I make sure I select all the tracks on the album and:
- Tick 'part of a compilation'
- Set Album Artist to 'Various Artists'
- Set Album to 'Now 1'

I can then set within individual tracks:
- Name as the song title
- Track number in the album order
- Artist as the individual artist performing that track

This also works with multiple cd albums using the disk number field
