How to get my USA iPhone 4 to work in Japan ?

Anyone know if their is a way to switch the iphone 4 sim card (at&T) with a sim card from Softbank so that my phone can work in Japan ?

or does anyone know of anyway i can get my USA iphone 4 to work in Japan ?

ya either

1) a) Sign up for an ATT plan and pay the ridiculous roaming charges
b) Sign up for an ATT Data Only Plan (Claim Hard of Hearing/Deaf) and sign up for the ridiculously expensive international data plan and get skype plan.

2) Wait for a jb and unlock
