I have a display monitor from my Mac Mini (in a school loby). I would like somehow for the screen to ^^Automatically^^ switch between 2 programs, alternating every 60 seconds or so. The 2 programs are Firefox and Filemaker Pro.

Any suggestions?

Would this just be some kind of screen saver (running when idle), or would someone actually be using the computer, and the applications would switch with no warning to the user?

Anyway, you should be able to do something like that with Automater, or AppleScript.

If it's just a screensaver, then you wouldn't need the apps open at all. Just take a screen shot of each app, then use the screen shots in a simple slide show.

It can't be a screensaver as both programs would be displaying dynamic updated information in live. i.e. one program is firefox displaying a live Twittershow with live updates, and the other program is basically a slide show.
