Hi,
We have a number of surplus iOS devices we'd like to sell. Previously we could do this through Amazon but lately this has failed, leaving us with only eBay. However, most of our business is done through Amazon so we'd prefer to use them. They tell us we need to contact apple to get permission to resell their products secondhand. Does anyone have experience in this? Who do you contact? We're in the U.K., if that matters.
Thanks.

This is more an Amazon issue than Apple for reselling something as new. You could also sell locally on craigslist and meet at the Apple Store and skip the seller fees. You could also sell it on Amazon as refurbished but put Brand New in the description to bypass Amazon's rules. eBay is also a good option. It sounds like you are a business and should have your own online storefront though.

Amazon says it's Apple! We do have our own storefront but we're primarily a secondhand bookseller, occasionally selling secondhand Apple items, usually our own old iPhones/iPads. When we asked Amazon they said permission had to be gained from Apple, even for secondhand goods!

Nothing whatsoever. My boss just prefers Amazon but looks like we'll be sticking to eBay.

Look on Apple site, they have about 20 ph numbers for various departments, including becoming an Apple product seller.
