Installed a few hours ago, and just opened the Photos app. I have almost 30,000 photos and I'm sure a few duplicates, but I don't see a duplicates tab anywhere. Is there a way to get it to show up? I checked all the settings and couldn't find anything.

I'm experiencing the same thing. 35,000 photos and I know I have a decent amount of duplicates, but no album has been created. Odd that checking duplicates seems to work fine on iOS with the same photo album.

If you have duplicates, it should show in the sidebar under Imports. Take a look at #26 in this MR article from today about new features and you'll see a screenshot. I'm guessing it may take time to detect duplicates in larger libraries so you may not see it right away.

Not seeing it either. Any updates on how it is going for the rest of you?
I created a couple of duplicates and can now see Duplicates on my iPad (16.1) and MBA (Ventura). On the iPad it appears in the Utilities section under Imports, and on my Mac it appears in the Photos section also under Imports.

There's a chance you're not seeing it unless you have duplicates. After I created a couple of duplicates yesterday, it didn't appear right away. Today it's there.

For large photo libraries I can understand why it might take a while to index for duplicates.
