How to get pictures from movies?

How do you get a picture from a movie. For example: lets say I am watching a funny movie and there is a part where a guy gets a pie slammed in his face and I want it to be my background. How would I get that single frame from that movie and convert it into a jpg, jpeg etc.

That's command for screenshot. Change the 3 to 4 if you want to select the area

Just drag the mouse away from it and wait few secs and it'll disappear.
