As you know, the new alu wireless keyboards feature a rwd, play/pause and fwd button on the keys F7, F8 and F9.

Since I have the previous version, the white fullsize bt-keyboard, I was wondering if it is possible to somehow map these features so that they work with my keyboard?

It's really neat to be able to pause music or film in whatever application you've got active, Spotify, iTunes, VLC and so on..

You could try using an Apple Remote.

I did find various applications through a quick Google search that allow custom binding, but they'll cost you $20+.

You'd probably be better off by buying a new keyboard as it's going to be designed to work with OS X better than any other hardware/application(s).
