Hi all.

I was in the MacOS Beta but I have now turned off receiving beta updates in Software Update in System Preferences.

However Feedback Assistant is still installed and I cannot get rid of it. I can't drag the app into the bin.

Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Many thanks.

M.

This might work. It's located at
/System/Library/CoreServices/Applications/Feedback Assistant.app

Make sure you're the admin and try to drag it to the trash can in safe mode.

I can see the app in that location but I can't delete it.

The Feedback Assistant is actually preinstalled on the system volume on all Macs and cannot be removed without disabling SIP, when you enroll your machine into a beta programme macOS creates an alias to the app in Utilties under the Applications folder.

To "uninstall" Feedback Assistant simply move its alias in the Utilties folder to trash.

So how do I get rid of the Feedback Assistant from launchpad now that I'm no longer enrolled in the beta?
