How to get rid of the "iDisk" icon on the desktop?

I use Mobile Me and the online storage but I don't need the icon on the desktop. How to I remove the icon from the desktop?

click on preferences in finder and ye shall find the answer

Go to your MobileMe settings. Go to iDisk tab. And deactivate iDisk synchronisation

This gets rid of my external hard drives when I plug them in. I followed "Zavior's" method and it did the trick, THANKS!
