I've been trying to get rid of webhp? redirection in google chrome for os x for a while now, I scanned the whole system and found nothing, I disabled all of the extensions, cleaned cache — basically did everything I could think of, and I still get that redirection sometimes when I search for something using Chrome (it doesn't happen in Safari or I didn't notice that).

Here's how link typically looks like in my browser tab after pressing "enter": https://www.google.com/webhp?source...espv=2&ie=UTF-8#newwindow=1&q=well here it is

Yes!!

Try running this adware scanner and see what it finds.

I actually signed up for this forum, just to say how good that software is. I was trying to watch a live TV stream and got suckered into some downloads (I should have known better)

My Safari went haywire! I was getting ads in new tabs every time I clicked on anything and google and ebay were completely mashed with things being moved around and adds popping up over everything.

30 seconds after downloading the above and they were gone.

Thanks.

I follow the dev. on Twitter. His web page does a great job keeping up with Mac security issues without sensationalizing like some others.
