How to get RSS feed into small box in website?

Just tryin to help my mate out with his website.

he's using iweb and has everything finished, but would like on the front page the just latest image and maybe text from his blog he has with blogspot, just kinda a small window within the site.

i'm guessing it'll need a RSS feed from the blogspot and some sort of html/javascript conversion.

does anyone know how to do it?

i know he could use a blog on iweb, but he'd prefer to keep his blogspot.

EDIT: instead of saying small box, i realised it would probably be better to say 'embedded'
