I recently discovered that something called “SpeechLib” is missing from my iBook g3 clamshell with macOS 9.1. Because of this, some programs won’t run on it. Apparently it has to do something with Apples old text-to-speech system. However I can’t find it anywhere for download, and when I upgraded from 9.0.4 to 9.1 it was still gone. Can anyone help me or has any advice or tips?
