How to get the .zip files in iTunes

So I downloaded a certain .ipa file or so I thought. Turns out, it is a ABCipa.zip file. I tried looking in the folders and there's this "Payload" folder etc.

How and where do I get the ipa file?

I tried to rename but that can't work coz I can only seem to rename the file name on my vista, not the file extension.
