I played a bit with Windows on VMWare. My account folder is linked to my Mac account folder, so each time I update something on one side, the other side gets the update too.
On my Mac-side desktop, I named four folders:
- con
- con[%
- con]%
- con%
Windows has problems with a folder named con, so it replaced the name by con%. It did the same with:
- con > con%
- con% > con[%
- con[% > con]%
- con]% > con]%
Now here is where it gets tricky.
In the four folders are each one subfolder created on the Mac side (Mac/Win).
- con/con% has subfolder A
- con[%/con[% has subfolder B
- con]%/con]% has subfolder C
* at this point, while con[% on the mac and windows side are two different folders (con[% on the windows side equals con% on the mac side, it executes it as if it were con[%)
con% on the Mac side seems to have no Windows equivalent folder, though both have four folders on their respective desktops.
In the images below you might get a better idea.
My question is, how do I get into folder D via Windows Explorer?
