Hey all, because it is much faster I need the windows button on my new Macbook Pro, what is the terminal command to put this back on?

I really wanted to like osx, but it just needs this to make it a complete operating system

OSX does not have a start button so there's no terminal command for get it back. If you don't like OSX, then load windows onto your mac.

No, what you *need or want* is to replicate some functionality that is embedded in the Windows start-button. If you tell us what that functionality is, we can tell you how to get it.

Start by putting your Applications folder in the Dock if it’s not already there.

Then put your Documents folder next to it. Add any other folders that you regularly use to the Dock.

Learn to use Spotlight (command-spacebar) as a launcher.
