How to get windows to use 9600gt over 9400m?

Just boot camped windows 7. How do I get it to use the 9600gt card over the 9400m, as I only install windows for my steam games.

i thought by default that it used the 9600 already over the 9400.

havent booted windows in a while but i remember it playing urt2003 pretty nicely

IF nothing changed you are forced into the 9600gt in any os except OS X.

you should be able to tell its using the 9600gt as it will get hotter than normal

Running in boot camp Apple states the only GPU available is the 9600M GT, so no matter what you do on the windows side of it, you are running on the GT and you can not switch to the 9400M.

On the Mac OSX side of the house in your preferences you can change between each GPU under I think Power Management.


Hope this clears it up, but I think someone already stated part of this.
