So, I did a clean install, and I want to restore my iTunes library in the way that my iPhone and iPad won't have to be restored and resynced. I've got three items on an external hard drive: My iTunes folder, com.Apple.iTunes.plist, and the MobileSync folder. How should I approach copying the files to the computer? The iTunes folder and MobileSync folder are MIA presumably because I haven't opened iTunes nor synced an iOS device yet; there is, however, an iTunes plist. Should I just copy the iTunes and MobileSync folders into their respective places and delete + replace the iTunes plist before opening iTunes?

I've always just copied the whole folder into the place of the existing one.

Can't remember if you have two reauthorise the machine though.
