Im coming from Android and my dad has the iphone4 and I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to group contacts in the iPhone?

In my gmail contacts I have all my 1000 plus contacts in groups of friends, business, family, etc which sync down to my phone and whenever I add a new number i select a group and it updates, can this be done on iPhone? if not is there an app that can? and also a way that once the groups are there I can edit and add groups on the phone and it all sync with my contacts?

Easy way to move numbers from google?

Thanks gang

well to move the numbers from google, I downloaded a .csv file then imported into OSX addressbook I created groups from my google groups, got to wait to see ifI can hide certian groups and only show them for when I need them

I have groups already in google, but how do i get them to move to my new iPhone i will get? and can i make sure any changes i make on the phone sync to those groups? iPhone doesn't sync with google
