How to hactivate iPhone 4 without a SIM?

I've looked around and downloaded PwnageTool and Redsn0w, but neither of them seem to have the option to bypass the "insert a valid sim" message. I don't have a sim card for the carrier the phone is on, so I'm not sure how to proceed with getting this to work. I don't know what OS the phone is running and I'm on OSX.

Any help would be appreciated!

try snowbreeze, that allows you to hacktivate the phone.. works...

If you just want to get past the sim screen I've done it just using any sim card.

Both pwnage and redsnow hacktivate. You obviously didn't bother to look if you couldn't find it in pwnage.

I tried that using my own sim card, and it gets rid of the message but it doesn't activate or do anything really.
