How does the App Store decide what languages an app supports, to show under the "Languages" section in iTunes? (I'm not talking about the language of the description, which can be set when submitting an app, but the languages listed as supported by the app. For example, see below the description in this shot: http://marronebioinnovations.com/img/iphone_app_itunesstore.jpg)
From what I found it's based on the .lproj directories present in the bundle, but I'm not sure and I can't find any official documentation on this. Does anyone know?
If it's the .lproj directories, any idea if they can be left empty? (I'm using custom language code.)
