I have just got my mom her first ipod and she wants me to set it up on my mac. She has a ton of cd's she wants me to put on her ipod that I don' want syncing with my ipod when I plug it in. The two options that I see are drag and drop all of her songs and my songs into the appropriate ipods, or create a new account for her on the computer. The reason i don't like the fist option is it requires a lot of extra work that I don't think is necessary, of course the reason I don't like that latter is I would have to work on an unset up account while putting the cds in and out.

I was wondering if there was a way to like partition your itunes library to sync with certain ipods.
