Hey folks....I backup to a Time Capsule (wirelessly connected to my network), but if my place were ever broken into, it too might get taken. Any ideas on how to hide it?

Cut-out your favorite stache and apply to the front of the TC - no thief will ever know what it is, plus it might scare them off. :)

Other than that, don't place it in the same room/around other electronics that are likely to get stolen if a thief breaks in or drill holes in the bottom casing and bolt it down to a desk.

The best method is do use a dual backup strategy. TM/TC locally inside your house... and one of the cloud services for disaster recovery. Popular choices are Mozy, Crashplan, Carbonite. I use Crashplan+.
