hey, i remeber reading somewhere a while back about an app that hides open applications, and gets rid of the blue glow (in leopard) from them, even if they are still open. Did anyone else see/ know how to do this.
 
haha, sorta, but i think that it was a terminal command that made command-h get rid of the traingle/strange blue thing
 
I too am looking for some kind of preference/utility to not show certain icons in the dock. Whenever I have to use xee or quicktime, preview etc etc I hate having to manually right click and close the program down.

They can run if they want I just don't want to see it.
