Whats the easiest way to hide photo albums?

Don't want my new girlfriend to see old pics of other girls in the past.

right click > move to trash > right click trash > press cmd+shift+delete (this will secure empty trash)

Stick them on a USB drive or something off your main machine.

right click > move to trash > right click trash > hold cntrl > secure erase trash

Agree with this...

However for the sake of completeness, you could put them in a hidden folder. Stick them in a folder called exes. Open terminal and type:

sudo -s
mv ~/path/to/exes ~/path/to/.exes
exit

In Unix, folders/files that start with a period are hidden. To view them use a widget or app to view hidden files.
