Hi, in 10.10 Yosemite when I use Safari in fullscreen, I can not hide the tabs. The option in the view menu is greyed out. Anybody know how to get this work?

Here's the behavior I'm seeing:

If there's 1 tab open, the View > Hide Tab Bar is fully functional, whether or not the window is full screen.

If there are 2 or more tabs open, Hide Tab Bar is grayed-out, whether or not the window is full screen.

If I have 1 tab open and select Hide Tab Bar, if I open a second tab (⌘T) the Tab Bar is revealed and Hide Tab Bar is grayed-out.

In short, if there are 2 or more tabs open, I can't hide the tab bar (nor would I want to, as I'm a tab-a-colic).

The Show All Tabs function in the View menu and on the Toolbar works differently, but as soon as you Hide All Tabs, it goes back to the situation above.

There are no preferences I could find that alter this behavior.
