Alright so I know all macs come with the standard "Macintosh HD" as the hard drive name, but what about this one? I don't know what it's for but I accidently renamed it to Macintosh HD as well and was wondering if I could somewhere find the original name? Bit OCD and it annoys me

That drive name in the screenshot is set in the hardware from the drive manufacturer and you can't change it. What does happen though is if you turn on core storage or Filevault2 encryption it makes a virtual drive that cause disk utility to look like this (screenshot). Is that how yours looks now?

Yeah that's what mine looks like, I've got file vault turned on, thought I'd accidently changed the name of it and it was annoying me, not so annoying now I know it looks the way it should :D thanks
