How to identify a 14'' powerbook Wallstreet ?

Hello,

After seing my house robbed, I noticed that my ooooold PowerBook G3 Wallstreet was stolen. I could not find the original bill, only the old internal cd-rom drive that fit in the right hand bay.

The insurance tells me that there is no proof that i had the 14''g3, and will only accept to replace the 'equivalent' of the 12'' Passive matrix Lcd.

Does any old mac historian know if there is a way to prove that the cd -rom bay could not come from the 12'' ?

I have read the Wiki page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PowerBook_G3), but cannot find that information...

Sorry about your house. There were three wallstreet screen sizes availabe at one point, 12, 13, and 14, and the drive could it all three, so based on the drive alone, it's very difficult to prove it. Do you happen to have a picture to show them, maybe?

Thank you very much both, I indeed have a picture on which it it clearly evident the computer is not a 12''...

I come here to have a specific geeky answer, and I come away with a simple common sense answer... I love the interwebs !
