How to import a DVD in it's entirety?

I have a DVD that I need to make a copy of, but every time I rip it all I get is the movie file without any of the menus and such. So am I crazy or is there a way to import, and burn a DVD so it turns out exactly like the original DVD? Thanks, I have a feeling that this is easier that I think it is.

there's a program out there called mactheripper that rips the dvd onto your computer. but please be responsible and only rip dvd's that you own the copyright of.
