Hi,
Do I need another program apart from Imovie to import sections of the dvd to
powerpoint? I have managed to make clips from dvd, which i can not save
into the hard disc.
Help please!

Handbrake or MPEG Streamclip + QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component will convert DVD video to something Powerpoint might accept. Inform yourself what video formats (.mov or .avi or .mp4) and codecs (H264, Divx, Xvid, DV, Indeo, ...) Powerpoint accepts.

Handbrake is for .avi and .mp4 files using the Xvid and H264 codecs.
for the PC side, stick with AVI. Ive had luck with MPG (muxed as single file) but there are times when this dont hold.
 
dvd to power point

Hi,
through handbrake i managed to decode the dvd which is accepeted into powerpoint, however how can I edit the.m4 file or take a clip from it.
