Hey guys:

short question:
Just bought my first iMac and had a macbook before.
Problem: I want to import all my photos/albums and especially photo albums (not just .pdf files but actual iPhoto files) from my macbook to the new iMac.

How am I going to do that?

Thanks :)

iPhoto libraries are pretty simple. You just move the library to the new machine and double click it and it opens. (It's probably in your 'Pictures' folder in your home folder, but it could be somewhere else.)

You can copy it using an external drive, but if you have firewire or thunderbolt on both machines I suggest using target disk mode instead:
