I have upgraded my operating system to Tiger, and to iLife 06.

I backed up all my photos to an external drive, by picking up the whole iphoto library folder to the external drive. I have 1,000 of photos, sorted into loads of album.

IS THERE ANY GENIUS OUT THERE WHO CAN TELL ME IF I CAN REPLICATE THIS COPIED FOLDER INTO MY NEW iPHOTO.

Or at least tell me how I bring them all over!!!

Go on, somewhere, spare me hours dragging them all in.......

There was need to to move your photographs before updating. If you backed-up your photographs, but left the originals where they were, then you have no additional work to do. iPhoto '06 updated its library automatically. If you deleted your original iPhoto library, then you can import your photographs from their back-up location into iPhoto '06.
