In agreement with many folk here in that Mission Control is a somewhat backward step from expose and spaces, but I'm not sure they need to change much to put the missing functionality back:
1. I'm really missing being able to specify the desktop I want certain apps to open in, so I always know where they are. This can't be hard, surely?
2. I find it incredible that they didn't think people would want to rearrange the desktop order, and surely this can't be more difficult than drag and drop?
3. Expose view should always show some desktop not just 2 overlapping app windows, although not sure how they would replicate expose view across all desktops (which was good in SL)
I think they are heading in the right direction with gestures (although still not convinced by reverse scrolling - yes, I know I can change back) but don't think they shouldn't be disabling great functionality.
Either put spaces back or give us the functionality in 10.7.1! You know it makes sense...
