Hi,
I just got a Mac Mini and one thing that really annoys me is the wifi reception (specially compared with the macbooks).

So, I am looking for advice in improving the wifi reception (not signal emission) of mac mini based on the experience of you guys.

Looking around I found things like this:

- USB adapter with antenna and optional extension with a bigger antenna:

or usb directional antennas:

- Antenna connected directly to the mac mini airport (opening the mac mini). I dont know if I want to do that.

Suggestions?

Thank you very much for your help and time!!!

Thanks for the replies.
the QuickerTek antennas are a little bit expensive.
I will try a cheaper option and I will let you know my experience.

...also check out ccrane.com. They have some great affordable wifi antennas for Macs. Their customer support is also great...

I've never used the hawking tech stuff but I've heard some pretty bad reviews on it. Might be easier to pick up a linksys WRT54G and flash it was DD-WRT and have it function as a repeater. Unless, you know, you're just trying to steal the neighbors wifi...
