If you came across my previous posts, you would know how much I am struggling with the move from 15.6" to 13.3". My eyes are taking a lot of strain because of the smaller screen and everything small. 1024x640 resolution makes everything too big and a few apps/websites are a headache to use with this resolution. But 1280x800 makes text/font too small for me and results in a lot of eye strain. Increase font size in the websites is easy by hitting command+ but I need to increase it in other places too. Is there any way I can increase the text/font size while staying on 1280x800 resolution?

See screenshots below. How do I increase font size of that? Is there any option for that (to increase font size across the entire system)?

OS X doesn't work that way.

Under accessibility options you can find the Zoom feature and invert the screen colors if that helps. But if you're blind you should go back to a 15"

Got an option of returning the 13" and getting 15". But I'm not sure if this will solve the problem. Are things bigger on the 15" or due to the high resolution they are still small? I moved from a 15.6" old HP laptop with 1366x768 resolution. I am absolutely fine with that resolution (and the size of everything on that resolution). Will I be able to get the same on the 15" latest MBP?
