Heaven or Hell
I have downloaded some new and rare Fonts in the .ttf format.

How do i correctly install them into my Mac OS X ?

thanks !

Drag the file to the Fonts folder in the Library:

Macintosh HD ---> Library ---> Fonts

I usually just open Font Book.app and drop the fonts in :D no meddling with file paths (although I suspect this only installs the fonts for my user).

You can always change it using Silk, or you can do it manually trough the system folders, replacing the original with the one you want to use.

If you want, I can tell you what folder is it.

I'm confused. I goto my Font Book then I did both clicking and double-clicking on the font that I want but neither will change the font on my computer. Is there some trick to this or what?
