How to install apps?

Hey, I have an app I downloaded on my PC that's not on Cyndia or Installer...how do I install it?

I tried SSH ...I moved the app folder to my iphone, gave it 0775, as well as the app itself in the folder, and nothing happened...how do I get it to work?

I already tried restarting.
